Los Angeles Review of Books Quarterly published my essay, "Going to the Show Again," in their fall 2021 Semi-Public Intellectual issue. It's about moviegoing, now and in the past. It's about the way movies are tied to my childhood and teenage years. And it's also about my grandparents going to the movies in Cleveland, Ohio during the Great Depression.
